Systems Engineer (Model Based Systems Engineering) – Candidate will have Cameo/Magic Draw experience and provide support to the RHN model-based network analysis tool development effort.  The candidate will support model reviews and maintenance of the model once delivered to the PM.  Candidate will also assist digital engineering efforts in the PM to include training and infrastructure development.

Communications Engineer needed to support the Secure Wireless program. Must be familiar with the Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program and architecture. Supports PdM NetMod with Documentation and Software configuration management between up to three different Secure Wireless baselines. Supports ongoing fielding efforts with direct phone and e-mail support to the Field Support Engineering team. Validate quarterly release updates from PDSS efforts. Works on development efforts with Secure Wireless engineering team. Tests new and emerging technologies and software for inclusion into the Secure Wireless baseline. Engineer a test network, write test plans and test threads for performance testing. Provides train the trainer instruction. Creates network diagrams using MS Visio. Step by step documentation of procedures (DTPs) Network and Client access troubleshooting using error messages and logs. Has a background in WIN-T or Tactical Network Configuration Items (CIs) and Architecture. Needs a cross functional basis of knowledge on Signal Modernization products including Small Form Factor Wi-Fi and SWMRE. Travel required up to 25% of the time.

Description:

The candidate will serve as subject matter experts in all aspects of SATCOM, to include modulation and coding, link budgets, antennas, waveforms, blockage mitigation and other algorithms/protocols.  The candidate must be familiar with the commercial SATCOM industry, to include multi-orbit (LEO/MEO/GEO), for increased use and integration by the Tactical Army.  The candidate will be responsible for understanding Electronic Warfare (EW) threats against the systems under management.  The candidate will coordinate SATCOM efforts to include prioritizing projects and tasks and work with system integrators.  The candidate will provide technical support in all PM TN equipment labs and run lab experiments with regards to SATCOM in addition to working with baseband networking configurations to integrate PM TN products.  The candidate will participate in evaluation and analysis of S&T capabilities for potential integration into the PM TN portfolio of systems.

Provide test plans and evaluation metrics for commercial cyber security products that meet with the limitations of DDIL networks. The candidate must be familiar with DoD network and cyber security standards. The candidate must have hands-on experience with the myriad of cyber security tools employed within DoD architectures, such as: varied Firewall and IDS/IPS technologies, Endpoint Security products, Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM), and PKI.
